Airbnb is giving people the chance to sleep in the iconic glass pyramid at the Louvre in Paris

If you are interested in staying in unusual places, Airbnb has an opportunity you will not want to miss. The vacation rental business is offering two people the opportunity to sleep in the glass pyramid at the Louvre Museum in Paris. In order for it to take place, it will be transformed into an awesome bedroom for two.

Art lovers have never had the opportunity to sleep in the Louvre before. You will be able to spend the night with timeless masterpieces, including the Venus de Milo and the Mona Lisa.

You need to act quickly because it is going to happen on April 30. The winner and their guest will have the opportunity to spend the night in the Museum with the lights out.

An art historian will meet the lucky guests to take them for a tour before they sleep at night.

They will be able to lounge on a “sumptuous Parisien lounge sofa” and sip on a Renaissance-inspired aperitif while enjoying some French music.

The Greek goddess of love and beauty, Venus De Milo will then be your host for a pop-up feast.

You will then enjoy an “intimate acoustic concert in Napoleon III’s lavish chambers.”

When the evening is over, you will be tucked into your pyramid shaped bedroom inside of the large glass feature. It will be designed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the building.

If you are interested, you have to enter before April 12 at 11:59 pm. Of course, it is French time so make sure you do the conversion.

Even if you aren’t the winner, Airbnb will also offer a number of experiences at the museum starting in May and lasting until 2019 is over.

The details have not all been ironed out and provided as of yet but according to the company, the experience will “give everyone the opportunity to rediscover the most famous museum in the world from a totally new angle, with exclusive visits and intimate concerts.”
