Baby Kangaroo Practices His First Hop And You’ve Never Seen Anything Cuter

There is just something about baby animals that warms our hearts. If you have come looking for one of the most adorable baby animal videos that you are ever going to see, you have come to the right place. This story takes place at Australia’s Northern Territory in Alice Springs. The Kangaroo Sanctuary provides a safe haven for little babies like this one.

Bradley is a six month old joey who needed a home after becoming an orphan. Chris ‘Brolga’ Barns is his caretaker and the two have developed a strong connection. Bradley has imprinted on him and their bond is equal parts hilarious and cute. The video you are about to watch is just too much. Bradley might be a bit camera shy initially but he gets over that rather quickly.

He is a natural ham and a bit of a cut up. The way that Bradley leans on his pal has us roaring with laughter. This little baby clearly trusts Chris implicitly. Seeing a young kangaroo trust a human with their life like this is just the cutest thing. Chris has worked with a wide range of joeys in the past. These experiences have given him the tools he needs to assist Bradley.

They have developed a relationship that is pure and simple. Chris helps Bradley and in turn, they are able to enjoy profound moments together. When a joey’s mother is killed, Chris steps up to provide them with the help that they need. He goes above and beyond to make sure that these animals remain as safe as possible during their formative years.

After Bradley’s mother was killed by a careless driver, he even carried the baby around in a pouch so that the animal could receive the same care that they would have from their own mother. Bradley responds well to his body heat. Tahnee, Chris’ wife, also assists him with the sanctuary. The little guy gets to come out of the pouch for a few minutes each day to hop around and increase his level of strength.

Eventually, he will grow into an adult kangaroo. He’s not going to stay little and cute forever so let’s cherish the moments while we still can. As Bradley grows, he is going to continue to receive the love and affection that he needs.
