Social media was shaken up by the claims of a model that she was ‘too beautiful’ to find love. She also feels that her good looks tend to intimidate ‘nice guys’.

The claims come from Jenna Thompson, a bikini model and mother from Essex in England. According to her estimations, she is only able to attract men who are looking for sex. As a result, she feels that her dating life is not where it should be. Using dating apps is also not working because men tend to focus more on her looks than her personality.

Thompson appeared on a British daytime talk show, This Morning. She said that she had even dated a married man and a traffic cop who gave her a ticket the same day.

She spoke to hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, saying: “[Online dating] is impossible. It’s really shallow. People get a kick out of how many swipes they get which narrows down any nice people. I think I intimidate guys. Nice guys. I attract guys who only want one thing or people who think they will just have a shot and don’t want someone that serious.”

She added: “I’ve got a definite type. I am quite picky but I have a definite type in looks but that tends to come with a certain territory. I like heavily tattooed guys who look after themselves. I just need someone who is able to connect with me on a deeper level. I don’t like small talk. Tatts are normally quite deep and artistic.”

When she was asked if she thought she was being picky in making her choices, she said: “I’m not gonna give up on love I just need to keep looking. I think we need a new way of dating. ‘Maybe bring back speed dating but not so fast.”
