Three years ago, Celine Dion lost her husband. The award-winning singer had stated in an earlier interview that she’d lost the love of her life, and admitted that it was tough having to think and make big decisions alone. Now, Celine is sharing some life lessons she’s learned since the tragedy, and how she feels about life, including how she’s dealt with raising her children alone. In an interview she gave with Deborah Roberts, she stated that she feels more alive than ever.

“I feel so powerful, and in charge, and grounded and happy. I can’t say more.”

According to Celine, Rene – her husband – gave her so much strength, power, and positivity, which is the reason behind her feeling of invincibility as she confidently takes charge of doing double parenting duty. Her advice to those who have lost a loved one? “You cannot stop living. Go forward,” Celine said firmly.

Now that time has gone by she says, “Today is the first day of the beginning of my life because I know that I don’t have to worry.”

When asked about her secret to staying fit, healthy, and happy, Celine simply answered, “I don’t need to prove myself to the industry, to my family, my friends because I think I’ve done it for many years. I do it because my passion has grown through the years. And now I do it because I have so much fun.”

She was also quick to reassure Roberts what while she’s a little skinnier, she’s healthy and there’s nothing wrong with her. The 51-year-old Celine also talked about what it feels like to being in the 50s club, claiming that she feels extraordinary and she’s feeling much stronger, more beautiful, and more grounded.

Regarding maturity, the singer says that it carries power and strength, and “that vintage thing – that is priceless.”

When asked about being ready for love again or not, Celine reveals that she is in love.
