It has been a dream of many people to own property along the ocean. If you have dreamt about being in such a paradise setting, you probably also realized that the price tag can get quite steep. In addition, you may live in an area where there isn’t any beachfront available. What is a person to do?
As it turns out, a company based in Louisiana may be able to provide you with the Beach life you desire. Zydeco Construction specializes in creating beaches that are completely man-made. It includes blue “swimming ponds” with a beautiful, sandy beach entrance. These beaches look like something straight out of a Caribbean island but they are now found in people’s own backyard.
Although the privilege of having such a Beach in your backyard will set you back about $20,000, it may just be well worth it. It isn’t too far from the national average cost of a standard inground swimming pool, which falls in the $22,000 range. Although there are many beautiful pool designs, nothing can make your home feel more like a Caribbean resort than a real beach.

Eric White is the founder of Zydeco Construction. He always wanted to use his skills in a creative way so he started his construction company. I can look at any situation and come up with a way to fix it. I like to stay in the market for things that most companies don’t offer, especially custom requests.”
As it turns out, this offer may not be completely unique. Thanks to a patented pump offered by White, however, these backyard beaches stand out as different. He also works along with the customer closely so they have a customized option for their property.
“It’s something that for years I would think to myself, ‘What if someone could figure out a way to turn a pond into a paradise?’” White said. “I did as much research as I could and applied it to building these ponds.”
I do believe he nailed this one!
