Darci Lynne Farmer is a household name (at least in the multitude of households that are tuned into America’s Got Talent every week). Well, those who find themselves pining for her return to the AGT stage are in luck. She’s been tapped for a highly anticipated Got Talent spinoff series! She is now 14 and viewers will get the chance to watch her do battle with various Got Talent franchises from around the globe.
Farmer can’t just talk her way past the competition this time, though. The young ventriloquist and her wiseacre sidekick Oscar will face an array of talented competitors during their quest for the ultimate prize. Darci Lynne may have made quite the name for herself over the past few years but do she and Oscar have what it takes to fend off their newfound host of challenges?
Darci was a shoo-in choice for the series and while fans remember her fondly, her act has evolved since she first burst onto the scene. The once cutesy little girl has now blossomed into a confident teenager. She’s certainly come a long way from her initial AGT appearance. Farmer is not the same timid performer, unsure of whether her singing puppets could allow her to hang with seasoned adults.
It is clear to see that the early jitters have vanished now. Her act as is unique as it is dazzling and we cannot wait to watch her amaze the AGT judges once again. Simon may have let Darci Lynne know that there was no pressure but she did bear the responsibility of setting the benchmark for all of the performers to follow.
One thing is for sure, they are going to have one tough act to follow! Darci offered masterful performances while Oscar got in a cutting remark at Simon’s expense. Oscar probably has continued to roast him but Darci was able to quiet him in time to close out the performance on a truly high note. Even Simon himself had to offer praise.
