The gift shop in this story was not expecting any visitors from the woodland area on this fateful day. It was business as usual, in fact. But when an adorable deer decides to stop by, it is time to put the usual business to the side and make sure that you capture the moment on video and/or film. Luckily for us, the workers at this gift shop were willing to do just that.

A wild doe decided to drop in and take a closer look at this gift shop’s wares. The Horsetooth Inn and RV Park is a common destination for those who find themselves in the state of Colorado. It is located in the town of Stout and there are no shortage of goodies and trinkets to be found here. Lori is the worker responsible for capturing the initial photos.

While most would expect for this sort of visit to be short lived, the wild doe must have seen something that they liked on these shelves. Not only did the doe come back later but they also had their entire family in tow! She spent a lot of time around the sunglasses rack and the potato chip section. She’s truly a woman after our own hearts.

Lori decided to coax the animal back outside with a peanut bar. Perhaps this treat was so delicious, the deer could not resist coming back for seconds? When she returned with her family, Lori could not stop laughing at the animal’s sheer level of audacity. She happened to be in the back office at the time, handling stocking related concerns.

Once she caught a glimpse of the same deer and their loved ones, she could not stop laughing. Lori decided that the same method she used to lure the animal outside before would work again. She grabbed another peanut bar and the family followed her back outdoors. Our working theory is that this was all about the peanut bars.

This is the sort of visit that Lori is always going to remember fondly. These are the types of moments that we find ourselves cherishing. We cannot stop looking at these photos and if you are laughing as hard as we are, it is time to spread the joy.
