Ping Pong is a disabled dog who has found themselves in the news for all of the right reasons. A local baby had been buried alive by their teenage mother. Stories like these are sad and they are all too common. This three legged dog was first seen by residents of Ban Nong Kham. The dog noticed that something was wrong and started to sniff and paw at the dirt.

Usa Nisaika is the dog’s owner and he watched everything unfold. Once Ping Pong dug at the ground, the baby’s legs were exposed. Ping Pong began to bark, alerting others to what was taking place. As soon as the locals realized that there was a baby buried in this location, they sprung into action. Can you believe that the baby is doing just fine after this awful ordeal?

This child has Ping Pong to thank for that. The reason for this baby’s burial is a sad one. The teenage mother in question was afraid to let her father know what had taken place. She thought that she would be punished for bringing a child home and made a very poor choice as a result of this pressure. The young woman will be charged with attempted murder.

While she is going to be facing criminal charges, she is currently in the care of local social workers. She’s going to be receiving the psychological assessment that she needs and her family plans to care for the baby in the meantime. Panuwat Puttakam is the lieutenant colonel for the Cham Phuang police force. He says that the young girl is still in a state of “great fear”.

What a sad story all around. This child did not want to disobey her parents and was forced into an awful decision. Hopefully, she gets the help that she needs. According to Puttakam, “she regrets what she did and said she acted on impulse”. This is understandable. Fear can be a powerful motivator. It can even cause us to act out of character.

As for Usa, they have been quick to praise the efforts of Ping Pong. This dog may have lost a leg as a puppy but that has not stopped him from being as loyal and obedient as possible. Ping Pong is beloved by everyone in the village and for good reason. How could you not fall for a dog who is this selfless?
