First-Ever All-Inclusive Adults-Only Resort in the Florida Keys Is Now Open

Since we’re now leaving February and heading into March, so many of us are eagerly waiting the thaw of spring when we can shed layers and enjoy the sun again. If you’re like me, you’re probably already browsing airliners for flight deals to sunnier climes and realizing that your dream trip to Mykonos may have to wait a year. But there is a new vacation spot that just opened up in Florida’s Key Largo which offers everything you’d want in a tropical getaway paradise: snorkeling, spa treatments, pool and oceanside cabanas, and no children. You read that correctly, the Bungalows Key Largo resort is an all-inclusive, adults-only resort where each of its 135 bungalow suits comes with its own veranda, soaking tub, and outdoor shower garden. Sounds luxurious right? It gets better in that two Huffy beach cruiser bikes are allotted to each suit so guests can leisurely ride up and down the beach with ease.

Sometimes, you simply need to disconnect to reconnect. #BungalowsKeyLargo

Additionally the resort offers dining options from three beachside restaurants with fine dining variations of Mexican and Italian-inspired seafood. There is also Largo Larry’s food truck for nibbles, as well as two floating tiki bars. And if all that wining and dining is too much, you can also avail of one of the resort’s daily yoga sessions, a golf excursion, or just casually visit their Fitness Tiki Hut.

After all the exhaustion of yoga and golf, or if you’re like me that would rather just skip to the relaxation, their spa has a variety of treatments all in a Zen garden spa which features rooms such as a Himalayan salt room or a eucalyptus steam room for some much needed relaxation time.

Once you’ve been pampered and get a second wind, the resort offers a variety of fun activities to book such as watersports, fishing, or exploring a nearby undersea park. You can take a glass bottom boat or go snorkeling. The resort even offers a sunset cruise, which you can enjoy before heading off to one of their pools or hot tubs for the evening.

Right now anyone can book and get the special 2019 introductory rate of $399 per person. You can get the white sand beaches and palm trees all right in the Florida Keys. You don’t even need a passport. That sounds like a pretty exciting vacation. I’ll see you all there. Now the big question is: who are you taking with you?
