Freezing Puppy Rescued After Being Dumped In A Trash

If you are over the age of 2, you have probably spent a fair amount of time on our nation’s interstates. While most of these trips tend to be uneventful, one person recently had an experience that would forever change their life. When they were driving down the I-85 in South Carolina, they came across one of the most astonishing (and saddening) sights they have ever seen.

They stopped at a rest area to stretch their legs and use the bathroom when they saw a trash can that appeared to be crying. Once they looked inside, they realized that the cries were coming from a sad dog who was trapped inside. The little Chihuahua was removed from the trash can and given over to the good people at Hart County Animal Rescue.

As you can imagine, animal lovers everywhere were livid when they heard about this story. The person who decided to toss a dog in the trash should take a long, hard look in the mirror. This was the sort of decision that is only made by the cruelest of people. Think about it. You have to take the dog, get into the car and drive a great distance just to dispose of them.

It takes a truly demented soul to participate in such a demonic activity. There are a multitude of shelters that are willing to take in pets when we cannot afford to take care of them anymore. This type of behavior is not the solution and it should never, ever be tolerated under any circumstances. Luckily, Sweet Caroline is now safe and sound.

Any information that can be provided about how Sweet Caroline came to be found inside of a trash can should be offered to the proper authorities. In the meantime, the aforementioned rescue team is doing everything in their power to make sure that she is ready for a proper adoption. If you would like to provide this girl with a home, head to the Hart County Animal Rescue website as soon as possible.

Be sure to pass this story along as well. You never know, Sweet Caroline’s next owner might be among your friends and loved ones. Do not send any of your information through Facebook, as this team will not be able to reply to any requests. We also hope that the person responsible for tossing her away is punished to the fullest extent of the law.
