It’s been a while since the infamous TV series, Jersey Shore, wrapped up on MTV. The show was unintentionally hilarious in parts, but what was most notable about the cast – thankfully some of them have ditched the cringe-worthy spray tans.

One of the beloved housemates on the show was Paul DelVecchio Jr. also known as Pauly D. Pauly’s general chill attitude, coupled with his hilarious one-liners, earned him a loyal fanbase. He was easy to recognize thanks to his signature hairstyle: a greased up blowback that looked more like a helmet than hair.

Over the years, fans have wondered what Pauly would look like without the rigorously styled hair – like if he used a quarter of the gel.

But it seems like fans can stop speculating what that looks like, as the question has now been answered. Pauly looks completely different without his signature hair gel. 

The former reality star showed off a picture of himself on Instagram, bare-chested and working out in the sun – still clearly working on that tan. The difference was in his hair. It was dry and luxurious, tied back by a small hairband instead of the infamous gel. Unfortunately for those who wanted to see this as a new look, Pauly went back to his signature look later that day. 

However, this isn’t the first time that fans have been interested in what the cast has been up to since filming Jersey Shore. Not too long ago, Deena Cortese was mom-shamed by irate social media users regarding her three-day-old son’s controversial outfit.
