KFC Is Rolling Out A ‘Cheetos Sandwich’ Across The US Next Month

Back in the day, a burger was as simple as they get, but nowadays, it seems quite fashionable to find hipster bars serving burgers loaded up with all kinds wild toppings to create unique flavor combinations.

And recently, it seems like KFC is jumping on the bandwagon, as the chain has plans to release a “Cheetos Sandwich” statewide across the US next month.

The cheetos-filled burger was tested out in a few states at the beginning of this year, with the trial proving to be “overwhelmingly successful”.

Because of the results, the fast-food chain is now rolling it out for the whole of the US to enjoy.

The sandwich will be made up of KFC’s trademark fried chicken patty, mayo, a “special Cheetos sauce” and, of course, a handful of Cheetos. This flavor mash up will be sandwiched between two toasted buns.

KFC has already confirmed the release date to be July 1st.

A company press release said, “After an overwhelmingly successful test earlier this year, Kentucky Fried Chicken and fan-favourite Cheetos are giving fans nationwide access to the sought-after Cheetos Sandwich.”

If this sounds like your kind of sandwich, but you don’t live within the states, then the sad news is you won’t be able to get your hands on the cheesy creation. However, if you do live within the states, you’ll still want to move fast, the Cheetos Sandwich will be on sale for “four short weeks”.

It’s not clear whether KFC has developed its own new weekly measure, or if they’re just highlighting the fact that four weeks fly by, but we’re assuming it’s the latter.

Either way, it is infuriating that the time will be so short. It’s probably due to the fact that if they launch the product at a month-month basis, they’ll get more profit. Such is life and business.

Would you be eating that burger any time soon?
