This is one of the most sickening acts of animal cruelty that we’ve ever had the dishonor of hearing about, as one awful human decided that it would be acceptable to bury an old dog in a shallow grave while the animal was still very much alive and well.

While this man evilly attempted to kill off an innocent dog, fate had a different idea in store for the animal. When Pedro was out walking his own dog in the Paris region, he came across the poor pup and even though this is an awful discovery that no one should ever have to be exposed to, he knew that he could not leave the helpless creature to die.

In Pedro’s mind, he had ended up in the right place at the right time and he was more than happy to save the animal’s life. He immediately set about the task of freeing the poor animal from the poorly dug grave. Even Pedro’s own dog got in on the act and helped him rescue the dog.

It soon became evident that the person who had buried the dog had far more sinister plans in mind. The dog was not merely buried, the animal had even been tied down with a rope and we cannot imagine what they could have possibly done to deserve this kind of a fate.

With a little bit of effort and a small amount of elbow grease, Pedro pulled the animal from the ground and gave her some water to drink. She is now resting up at a local animal shelter and recovering from the horrific ordeal that she was forced to endure at the hands of a cruel and sadistic soul.

The dog is now in much better condition and investigators have been able to locate the perpetrator of this awful crime. If the owner is convicted for the role that they have played, they could face up to two years in prison. If you ask us, they should lock them up and throw away the key!

If convicted, the dog’s owner faces two years in prison, and fines of over $30,000.
