Mom Takes 4-Month-Old Puppy Shopping At Target – Her Reaction Has The Internet In Stitches

One of the things that many mothers appreciate is taking a trip to Target. It gives them the chance to get out of the house and, quite honestly, there are many awesome things to see and do. It’s like a shopping Disneyland for mothers.

Although it is nice to get out and browse through Target alone sometimes, we all know that the kids are going to want to tag along. Apparently, this also includes our furry kids as well. This includes Zira, a cute little Corgi who made the trip with his mom. His reaction while going through Target is touching hearts all around the world.

Zira is a mini Aussie/Corgi mix and she is only 4-months-old. When she was taken on a Target shopping trip, the pictures were uploaded to her Instagram account. It only took one look and people were instantly in love with this little puppy. Since then, the pictures have spread on social media everywhere.

Jesse and Kasey, Zira’s owners, also submitted the pictures to a popular Facebook page. They talked about this trip to Target:

“Zira’s a 4 month-old Corgi and Mini Aussie mix and is in love with anything she can chew!” they continue. “She’s a very social dog who loves to play with her friend, Poppy, the pit bull. Car rides are her favorite-she loves to go meet new friends. We spontaneously decided to go to Target yesterday morning and took Zira. She absolutely loved it! Zira got new treats and a toy. While we were turning a corner, this woman shopping saw her and freaked out! She couldn’t stop going on and on about how cute Zira was. Zira just started licking her, and the woman loved it. She even picked Zira up and let her kiss her face! She kept telling us what a beautiful and sweet dog, Zira is. Just another day of Zira spreading love and joy to the world… She loves meeting new people and getting attention!”

Jessie was interviewed by a local news station. She said: “We always wanted to gain a following on Instagram. And we got about 2,000 followers but we had no idea that it would blow up like this.”

After returning home from Target, the pictures were uploaded to Instagram. They instantly went viral and the account grew to over 40k followers. Kasey said:

“At a point, I just had to shut my phone off because it was becoming too much.”

Most people were gushing over these pictures but there were some who criticized her decision to take a dog into the store. Target only allows service dogs, so an apology was added. Jesse and Kasey want people to know that dogs should only be taken into pet-friendly stores, such as Pet Smart and Marshalls.
