Norwegian Cruise Lines passengers may have been expecting to take their dream cruise this past weekend. However, the trip would soon turn into an absolute nightmare. We cannot even imagine how frightened we would be to be on a ship that started to tilt sideways. This harrowing experience led to further conversation on social media as well.

People were letting the world know about what they had been forced to experience. The tilting took place through no fault of the cruise line, though. The ship left New York and passengers were slated to be taken to the Bahamas and Florida. When the ship encountered a massive gust of wind along the way, this is what caused the titling to occur. Still scary nonetheless.

The wind was estimated at 100 knots. While we are not experienced seafaring types, we are going to go out on a huge limb and say that is not good? Furniture was tossed around the ship and people were forced to hang on for dear life as glass was shattering all around them. These sudden movements may not have taken place for long but they felt as if they were never ending.

Once the damages were tallied up, the ship docked. Port Canaveral medical personnel were summoned to the scene to help all those who had been injured during the winds. The passengers are obviously traumatized by what took place. Our hearts go out to them. No one deserves to have their vacation end up this way. The footage that has been shared will surprise you.

We cannot believe that people were able to survive this ordeal. Many of the passengers did not feel comfortable going back to their rooms after the ship began to tilt. They decided to sleep in the common area instead and we cannot blame them. It is tough to fathom the level of fear someone would have if they were dealing with flying glass and furniture.
