Photographer Captures Real Life ‘Lion King’ Moment When Mother Baboon Lifts Baby to the Sky

The Lion King is a movie that we have all seen throughout the course of our lives. Disney has even decided to shoot a live action version of the film that enlists some of the top talents in Hollywood….even Beyonce is on board! Did you know that a live action Lion King moment took place recently, though? This mother baboon re-enacted one of our favorite scenes from the film.

When Mufasa raises his newborn son Simba to the sky, our hearts swell with joy each time. Any parent who is proud of their child can most definitely relate. This moment is pure cinematic magic and anyone who can watch it without feeling anything is a monster who is dead inside. Sorry for having to be so blunt about this one but that is the reality here.

If you have never seen the movie, we urge you to take the time to do so. Feel free to bookmark this story and come back to it if you need to. Those of us who have not spent our lives living under a rock will remember it perfectly, though. The impersonation that takes place in this clip is so good, you might even think that the baboon has seen the movie themselves.

Someone must have shown the baboon the movie. That is the only explanation that we have for what is taking place here. Now that every outlet worth its salt is sharing this moment, we give it about two more days before it goes viral. This is your chance to get in on the ground floor before all of your friends and loved ones start to share this with you on a regular basis.

Don’t you want to remain on the cutting edge? Of course you do. This photographer was able to capture one of the most incredible moments that we have ever seen and we would be remiss if we did not share it with the rest of the world. This is your cue to do the same. Have you ever seen any scenes like these in the past?

Of course you have. This is your time to share these stories with the rest of the world. Be sure to pass this story along to your closest loved ones and if you have not seen The Lion King….consider this your cue to do so. The same goes for anyone who has not seen the movie in a while!
