She Pours Chocolate Cake Batter Into A Rice Cooker And Makes The Most Delicious Dessert

If you are anything like the rest of us, then you enjoy a wide range of delicious cakes. Chocolate cake is arguably our favorite. While you might be used to the typical methods for baking a delicious chocolate cake, this video will teach you a whole new way to enjoy such a delightful treat. You can now use a rice cooker for this task and this helpful video will show you how its done!

All you are going to need is the aforementioned rice cooker and a few relatively simple ingredients. Many of these ingredients can already be found in the confines of your kitchen. Even the recipe is simple. To start, grab yourself some chocolate, whipped cream, sugar, oil, eggs and flour. From there, you’ll need to take the time to measure all of these ingredients.

he recipe looks pretty simple, and the ingredients and measurements are as follows:

For the dry ingredients:

– 250g Cake Flour
– 250g dark brown sugar
– 120g unsweetened cocoa powder
– 2 teaspoon baking soda
– 2 teaspoon baking powder
– 1 teaspoon salt

For the wet ingredients:

– 200 – 250g unsalted butter (melted and in room temp)
(Extra note: some viewers find adding only 200g butter is not moist enough, I believe the texture may vary from rice cookers, but you may add up to 250g of melted butter & extra 50g of sugar to moist it up more)
– 100g water or earl grey tea or milk
– 3 eggs
– 60g plain yogurt

For the icing:

– 300g dark chocolate chips
– 6 tablespoons syrup

The cook in the video has two important notes:

1. She cooked her cake for 1 hour and 30 minutes, but cooking time can vary depending on your rice cooker.
2. The rice cooker may switch back to “Warm” mode every 10 mins or so. What you should do is to wait a few minutes and switch it back to “Cook” mode until the cooking is done.

I would also add that not all rice cookers may be advanced enough or have the appropriate heat/settings for cooking a cake. So check your manufacturer’s instructions.

You should also be forewarned that not all rice cookers will be able to handle this task. Take a closer look at the manufacturer’s instructions to make sure that you have access to the proper settings. While the woman in this clip is able to finish her cake within 90 minutes, mileage can vary depending on the make and model of your home’s rice cooker.

In order to learn more about this yummy surprise, we urge you to take a closer look at this amazing repipe video. We certainly never thought that a rice cooker could be used for this purpose before. Thanks to this helpful clip, we are able to learn that anything is possible. Please be sure to share this recipe with all of the cake lovers that you know and hold dear.
