Prince Harry Makes First Statement To The Press After The Birth Of His Baby Boy

The youngest member of Britain’s royal family is officially here and it’s a boy.

Prince Harry, the proud new father, has addressed the press for the first time.

Here is his message:

“I’m very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy this early morning. A very healthy boy. Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever possibly imagine.

“How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension. But we’re both absolutely thrilled. And so grateful to all the love and support from everybody out there. It’s been amazing. So we just wanted to share this with everybody.”

However, Harry admitted that he and Meghan were still choosing a name for their new arrival, saying:

“[We’re] still thinking about names. The baby’s a little bit overdue, so we’ve had a little bit of time to think about it. That’s the next bit. But for us, I think we’ll be seeing you guys in probably two days’ time as planned, as a family, to be able to share it with you guys and so everyone can see the baby.”

As a last bit of information, Prince Harry opened up about actually being at the birth:

“I haven’t been in many births. This is definitely my first birth. But it was amazing. Absolutely incredible. And as I said, I’m so incredibly proud of my wife. And as every father and parent would ever say, your baby’s absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to die for. So I’m just over the moon.”

Congratulations to the new parents. There’s no doubt in a few days we’ll be posting again with pictures.
