Samsung Is Offering A 219 Inch TV And I May Never Leave Home Again

Technology just seems to keep improving and the updates are moving at such a fast speed, it is difficult to keep up. We may have the newest item on the market one day but by the next day, it just seems as if it is outdated. We often see this with computers, phones and tablets but there is another technology that continues to move forward – televisions. Not only are they getting more sophisticated, they are getting bigger.

If you enjoy watching TV and snuggling up on the couch to binge on some Netflix, then you should be sitting down when you read this. Thinking back several decades, we might remember the old 19 inch TV that we would watch from across the room. Samsung has now made that a distant memory by offering the latest creation at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

What would you do with a television screen that was so big it could actually be a movie screen? That is what the new TV by Samsung has to offer. It weighs in at 219 inches and if you do the math, that is 18 feet! The monstrosity is being called ‘The Wall’ and we may never be the same again. I’ll be the first one to admit that the TV might not fit into every living room but if it does fit, you may be able to start charging admission.

One of the most common questions that people ask about The Wall is in regards to the amount of energy it uses. You will be happy to know that it doesn’t use very much. That is due to the micro LED technology that burns up less energy than the TV you already own. You also get a brighter image at the same time.

You may be feeling a little sad now because you don’t have an 18-foot wall to fit this screen. Don’t worry, there is another option available. It comes in the form of a 75 inch TV that is big enough to have some fun, or you can snap them together to create a bigger screen.

Samsung is not the only tech company out there to come out with 75 inch TVs. TLC, H-Sense and Sony also offer them.

The 75 inch TV may be wonderful but compared to The Wall, it is just a little brother.
