Skinny Vodka Martini Popsicles Are Back At Costco Just In Time For Summer

Do you remember the ice cream truck when you were a little child? It was perhaps one of the best parts of our youth and maybe even something that we enjoy in our adult lives as well. Of course, we tend to leave the actual ice cream truck to the kids.

That doesn’t mean, however, that we want to miss out on the fun during the summer months. As an adult, we still enjoy a frozen treat but now we have the opportunity to add a little booze to it. There’s nothing like making our frozen fun even better by adding a little adult beverage.

Costco is now making it easier for you to enjoy one of those adult treats this summer by bringing back the Slim Chillers Skinny Freezers Vodka Ice Pops. They are just like the Popsicle you enjoyed when you were younger but they have a nice surprise on the inside. They come in a variety of flavors with appealing colored sleeves but they are better than what we had when we were younger because they include vodka.

Calories were probably not the first thing you thought about when you were a child. That being said, as an adult, you will be happy to know that the Skinny Freezers pops are only 100 cal each.

They come in 4 flavors: cosmopolitan, watermelon lemonade, appletini and lemon drop.

Check out the delicious look from this official Instagram post.

You won’t find them on the Costco website but Slim Chillers says that you will find them at the warehouse club. If you don’t have a Costco near you, they may be available at a different store in your area.

You can even make some popsicles and include vodka as a method of last resort.

Just grab yourself some Jack Daniels whiskey, Coke, and popsicle molds. Include 1/2 ounce of Jack Daniels in each popsicle mold, add 2 ounces of flattened Coke and stir. Cover and insert the wooden sticks and pop them in the freezer.

If you don’t have a cover for the molds, use some tinfoil to keep the sticks in place. Freeze them for a few hours or keep them in the freezer overnight. If they stick, run some hot water on the outside of the mold and they should slide right out.

If you prefer, you can use rum, and Pepsi fans can always make the swap if they desire.

You might also want to try these Blue Lagoon Cocktail popsicles for your summer barbecue. They are great for the Fourth of July weekend with the red and white coloring.

Another option is to whip up some spiced rum horchata pops. They don’t contain dairy and you can season them with cinnamon and vanilla.

If you are looking for something lighter, you can try champagne popsicles.

This recipe from Cooking With Janica uses champagne, St. Germain elderflower liqueur and edible flowers to make frozen treats that are as beautiful as they are tasty.

Then again, if you aren’t a popsicle fan, you infuse booze into many different treats to make them adult friendly.

Maybe you could try some vodka gummy bears.
