There is perhaps no love in the world that is stronger than the love a mother has for her child. We see it in action every day and it continues to be a source of amazement to us when we stop to ponder over it. Of course, this love is not only limited to humans but it is also seen in the animal kingdom as well.

It was clearly seen in the case of a stray cat named Dongsook. This feral feline came in contact with a woman who showed compassion and would regularly feed her. She sought shelter in the neighborhood and the two of them became regular acquaintances.

There was something strange about Dongsook and it didn’t take too long before it was recognized. When she was given food on a plate, she would walk away without touching it. It didn’t matter how hungry she was, she wouldn’t eat the food on the plate.

If the food was in a plastic baggie, this mama cat would take the package and run off quickly.

Every time the woman fed the stray cats in the neighborhood, she made sure that she had one baggie specially prepared for Dongsook. After a while, her curiosity got the best of her.

She decided she would follow the cat to see why the bag was so important to her. That is when she discovered that Dongsook was not taking the bag for herself but she was taking it for her kitten.

Dongsook had recently given birth to a litter of 5 kittens but only one of them survived. They were like mirror images of each other, both of them being orange tabbies.

As the woman watched on in amazement, Dongsook open the bag for her baby and left it there until the young one was full. Now that the woman knew this little secret, she knew that it was time for her to take things to the next level.
