Angela Clayton started making her own dresses at age 14 because she couldn’t afford the fancy costumes that people would wear while attending conventions (Like comic-con).
Now she is an 18-year-old costume designer that lives in Long Island, New York. She’s recently received a substantial amount of publicity for her original dress designs.
Angela says, “I hope that there is a future career that I will get out of it. I love making costumes and I love bringing ideas to life.”
If I could do that for fashion, especially for theater or film, that would be awesome…I would rather go straight into that if I can instead of spending four years at school.”
