Traditional Cottage Has Gone Up For Sale With A Giant Go-Kart Track In The Backyard

If you’ve always wanted to be a Go-Kart business owner – or you just want to get out of the madness of Dublin and actually be able to afford a mortgage – then you should probably look at buying your own go-karting business based out of this traditional cottage in Castlefinn, County Donegal, Ireland.

It is a quaint-looking two-bedroom cottage with a country-style kitchen and fuel stove. There’s also a Belfast sink, cast iron radiators, and exposed brick.

But the back of the cottage has something that makes it a bit extra special. At the back, you can use it as your very own go karting track, or as a commercial track. Making money and living out in the beautiful Irish countryside, could there be anything better?

As for offers, you’d be looking at around the €325,000 which is about $366,000 when converted over.

According to the Irish Mirror, the track measures 1,000 meters in length and was designed in order for racers to reach speeds as high as 55 miles per hour.

But the Go Kart isn’t the only thing that is on the property. There are also other spaces for more developments – so you could build yourself a petting zoo or whatever you’d want.

If interested, you can check out the property here.

If you’re looking for a more unique country retreat, then this unique bar might be more your style – you’d even have your own pirate ship.

Slightly more expensive – at £1.25 million – the Gloucestershire has five bedrooms, grounds spanning 12 acres, and 11 stables.

The real treat is the pirate ship, which comes complete with a treasure island and a lake. The ship spans 2 decks and has its own watch tower, cabin, and a BBQ/bar.

Julia Boehn, who is selling the property from Andrew Grant Country Homes said, “It was bespoke hand-built by the current owners, the pond came first, and they then decide to add the ship.”

Boehn added, “It has bit used for kids and adults’ parties as contains a BBQ area and bar. The ship is half in the water and half on land. It’s suited to someone with an interest in horses or an equestrian. It also has good commuter links. Current owners run a livery yard.”
