The meme was posted originally in 2007 after Laney Griner took a photo of her son Sammy trying to eat sand. The meme gained popularity with the caption “I Hate Sandcastles”. Laney disliked the suggestion stating it made he son look like a bully by insinuating he had destroyed someone else’s sandcastle. She embraces the meme now and says her son gets embarrassed when people realize that’s him.

The pic of the girl and the burning house was taken in January 2004. A local fire department was running a drill training two blocks away from Dave Roth’s home in Mebane, North Carolina. Chloe is seen on camera with a puzzled look on her face. This meme will forever be known as the ‘Side-Eyeing Chloe’.

“Ermahgerd” is a long drawn out way of saying “oh my god”. The meme first posted on March 14th, 201s2 titled “Just a book owners smile…”. Maggie Goldenberger,is the girl in the picture she says this picture was taken back when she was in 4th or 5th grade.
