The Farmer’s Almanac Just Released Its Predictions For How Bad Winter Is Going To Be

According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac(the most trusted source in weather predictions for more than 200 years) that everyone is going to want to trade in their snowmobiles for rowboats this coming winter.  Not only will this winter be milder than most it will also be wetter.

All the zones in the U.S are getting the predictions of above normal temps compared to winters in the past. But what is the reason for that?

The Old Farmer’s Almanac sites a decrease in solar activity and the expected arrival of a weak El Nino — both of which will prevent cold air masses from sticking around in the North.

But for those of us that are in the regions where snow is always a factor in our daily lives…we need to know how much will we be getting?  How much shoveling will we need to do?  How many snow days will the kids have?

Here’s what the Old Farmer’s Almanac has to say about that:

“As for snow, we expect to see below-normal levels of snowfall in areas that normally get snow, with the interior West and a small part of the nation’s midsection being the snowier-than-normal exceptions.”

Are you all ready for that?  Are you looking forward to a cold winter?  Or would you rather have a warmer winter?
