Gordon Ramsay Is The Fan Favorite To Play ‘Angry Chef Lewis’ In Little Mermaid Movie

Sometimes it can be difficult to fill a role in one of the live-action Disney movies. When it comes to filling the role for Chef Lewis, however, it seems as if they have a shoo-in. After all, Gordon Ramsay is often described as being exactly like Chef Lewis, so many people are asking for him to play the part.

19-year-old Halle Bailey has received the part of Ariel, according to an announcement from Disney last week. Ever since Disney has announced the live-action remake of Little Mermaid, there has been a lot of speculation about who would be joining the crew.

It is rumored that Ursula, the sea witch will be played by Melissa McCarthy. There are also many who want Idris Elba to play King Triton, although Terry Crews has revealed his desire to play the part as well.

There is a lot of mystery surrounding the majority of the cast but many people feel that Ramsay would be the perfect choice to play chef Lewis.

In the 1989 animated film, Chef Lewis was a hotheaded individual with a French accent and a love for cooking. He would sing and dance as he worked in the kitchen but once the lobster Sebastian tries to get out of the cooking pot, he loses his cool.

Of course, Ramsay isn’t French but he does have the qualifications for the role as far as his personality is concerned. He has also worked in France as a younger chef so he may be able to do the accent. The fact that he gets angry working in the kitchen is just a bonus.

52-year-old Ramsay has probably never chased a lobster around the kitchen but he has thrown plates, pans and ingredients on more than one occasion.

Many people were expressing their support on Twitter, including this fan:

Many others were tagging Ramsay to ask him to audition.

Another tweeted:

It doesn’t look like Ramsay has responded as of yet but he is busy planning a culinary road trip with Gino D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix.

There are many people who are waiting to see if he will make their Disney dreams come true.
