Life can get difficult sometimes, especially when you stop to think about everything you have to do on a daily basis. As you try your best to get from one day to the next, it often comes down to the annual vacation that keeps us from giving up.

It is rare to find somebody in this world that will give up the privilege of taking a vacation because somebody needs the money more than you do. As you are about to see, however, it is exactly what a teacher did when he saw a student in need.

The teacher noticed that one of his students was wearing the same outfit over and over again. At first, he thought that it was just a personal preference but when the weather turned colder, he then saw that it was getting dangerous.

He was concerned about the health of the students now that winter was arriving. It was just too cold to wear sneakers and a hoodie so he asked the student to stay after class. That is when he found out that the student was living with his grandfather and he takes classes, has a job at Chick-fil-A and is barely making ends meet. Since finances are so tight, he wasn’t able to afford good clothing.

The teacher didn’t hesitate. He offered to give $800 to the student to help buy food and clothing. The cash ended up coming out of the family vacation fund and he didn’t take the time to tell his wife before he gave the money away.

Fortunately, his wife recognized the importance of what he did and was behind him, every step of the way.

She even took things a step further and suggested that the student and his grandfather be invited over to their house for Christmas.

These simple text messages back and forth touched the heart of the Internet.

It’s not often that you see this level of love in the world today. It’s refreshing when we recognize it happening.
