Jubilee is one of the sweetest dogs that a person could ever hope to meet. While most dogs are abandoned for reasons that do not make sense, this story truly takes the cake. Her initial owner did not want to keep her because of her anxiety issues. The level of affection that she had to offer was also an issue. In essence, she was brought back to the shelter for being “too nice”.

Of course, the article about this abandonment was shared immediately on Facebook. People rallied around Jubilee. They could not believe that someone would be willing to get rid of a dog for the crime of being too nice. She had also chewed some things in the owner’s home. This is not an excuse. We are not sure what people expect from dogs that are getting accustomed to new homes.

News flash: they are going to chew things that they are not supposed to. A pet owner needs to be willing to put in the time and effort to train an animal. They cannot simply toss them aside the second it gets difficult. Because her initial story had been shared, Jubilee had no problem finding a new forever home. Samantha knows how to assist anxious animals.

She figured that Jubilee would get along well with her dog, Abby. Samantha also brought in a trainer who could assist the animal with her anxieties. “I knew I was supposed to have her,” Samantha says.

We are inclined to agree. While the actions of her past owner were absolutely atrocious, we are glad to see that she has found a much better home now.

Jubilee’s story touched the hearts of many. In fact, so many potential adopters showed up at the shelter and they were let down to find out that she had already been taken in.

So, they decided to take home other shelter animals in need. This kind dog was able to save the lives of other shelter dogs just like her. What a heartwarming ending to an otherwise sad story.

Samantha is also grateful that the other owner gave her up. She would not have enjoyed a good life with them. Samantha and Jubilee have now been together for four years. The dog has even struck up an awesome friendship with her teenage son. It is safe to say that this dog has ended up exactly where she is supposed to be.
