While most of us are used to hearing stories about doggy rescues, what about a story where the rescuing is actually being done by a dog? The quick thinking pup in this story certainly deserves some hugs and treats. This amazing video has been passed around the Internet a whole lot as of late. We cannot get enough of this dog’s bravery in the face of danger.

There are some dogs who would have cowered during such an occasion and understandably so. The little dog in question was about to be creamed by a car that was going in reverse. Unfortunately, the driver was not able to see the small pup. That’s why it helps to have a guardian angel close by. This owner was saved from a horrible tragedy in the nick of time.

It can be hard for owners to know where their smaller dogs are located when they are driving in reverse. This is especially true during the winter months, when the roads become treacherous for even the most experienced drivers. This small dog would have been in for a world of hurt, if not the border collie who just so happened to be on the scene.

The border collie saw the car heading for the smaller dog and lunged in to save their life. We do not wish to spoil every detail of this amazing video, though. You are simply going to have to watch it for yourself. We would like to imagine that the driver is very grateful to the border collie for the help that was provided. Hopefully, they will take extra precautions in the future.
