A German Shepherd is not always going to have the best manners. Dogs like these can be a bit rough around the edges. However, our pal Skottke is putting an end to all of the usual misconceptions. She has the type of manners that other pet owners dream of. She is unfailingly polite and she even finds the time to treat all other animals with the proper respect.
This is a good lesson for all of us. While there are a wide range of people out there who struggle to play well with others, these animals are proving that you do not even have to be the same species to get along fabulously. Once you get a load of Skottke’s nightly routine, you are going to be in hysterics. She’s developed quite the bond with the family rabbit.
In fact, she loves this rabbit so much, she refuses to head to bed each night without taking the time to tell her goodnight. Near as the family can tell, Skottke has decided that Holly the rabbit is her child. What kind of mother would she be if she allowed the baby to head to bed each night without any sort of acknowledgement? She checks on Holly every night, without fail.

She does not go to bed until Holly’s safety is confirmed. The adorable pup also remains by Holly’s side until her human has also provided the necessary “goodnight”. Then and only then does she actually go to bed herself.
After all, a mother’s work is simply never done. We could watch these two all day. Maybe someone should give them their very own show, so that we are able to check out their bedtime routine on a daily basis. In the meantime, we will simply have to check out the hilarious video and keep our fingers crossed for future adventures.
