Parenting can be hard, can’t it? Even when we try our absolute best, mistakes can still happen. That’s why it is important to remain dedicated to the task at hand. It is essentially impossible to do the right thing all of the time. Some parents might be able to use certain methods to get things done and these same methods will fail miserably for others.
Kids often feel the same way about certain toys. While some toys might be a major hit for one child, another child may not care about the toy at all. Hilary recently shared a “mom fail” that she experienced with her Facebook friends and she was stunned to watch it go viral immediately. It all started when she saw a toy that was on sale on Amazon.

The toy is one of the “Yellies” and she thought that her little one would appreciate the gesture. The inherent concept, for those who are not familiar, is as follows: you yell at the toy and it goes even faster. Seems simple enough, right? She assumed that her loud child would appreciate the gift. After all, a boisterous child should like a boisterous toy.
However, she decided to take a closer look at the toy before passing it along to her child. She was astonished by the toy’s motor and the glowing eyes. Hilary called in her son Leo to get his take on the subject. He did not care for this idea one bit and we cannot say that we blame him. His facial expression says it all, doesn’t it?

As she watched him freak out, she slowly realized that she was probably creating a lifelong fear. Poor little Leo backed into a corner and was ready for his mother to put a stop to this awfulness. The “Skadoodle” continued to chase Leo and the little boy did not seem to realize that his screams would only make the toy speed up even more.
This is quite the vicious toy but we are sure that there are some kids out there who like it. Leo is decisively not one of them. When she tried the toy again, Leo had an even better idea. He picked it up and tossed it away! We cannot say that we blame him on that one. Be sure to share this hilarious story with your closest friends and loved ones.
