When Angela took the time to rescue this little bitty Chihuahua, she never could have expected what would happen next. The dog was very weak at the time when she was rescued. Angela never expected to receive any sort of thanks for what she had done. When the little dog reached up and licked her face, she was touched. She knew just how hard it was for the dog to accomplish this simple task.

To top it all off, she had already spent four hours driving to save the animal. She took one look at the animal and felt a tremendous sense of sadness. There were numerous signs of medical issues. It was clear to see that the dog had seen better days. If someone did not intervene soon, the animal was going to die. The dog’s eyes were bulging, legs were splayed, and it had too many teeth.

Angela was well aware of the fact that time was running out. She knew that the animal was not going to make it. She decided to take the dog home and provide with as much love and affection as she could in the meantime. Angela was going to make sure that the dog received plenty of love and affection. She even gave the dog a brand new name: Freddie Mercury.

She also calls the dog T-Rex, because of their propensity to try and stand up on her back legs. Freddie is not expected to live very long but this does not matter to Angela. She believes in giving dogs that are damaged all of the love that they need in order to overcome their circumstances. Every animal deserves the chance to enjoy tender, loving care during the course of their lifetimes.

Freddie’s health has improved since he moved in with Angela, though. The dog can now stand up on its own and the foster animal is starting to turn the corner. People tend to ask how she can handle a task of this magnitude and she is quick to let people know that she is learning from these animals, too. They provide her with numerous life lessons each day.
