Bullied and Shamed After Posting Her Engagement Photos, Bride-To-Be Gets Her Happily Ever After

When Mzznaki got engaged back in 2016, she decided to share the happy moment with her friends and loved ones on social media. She is a nurse from Ghana and she could never have expected the response that she would receive. A photo of her with her fiance Kojo made the rounds on Instagram for all of the wrong reasons. Unfortunately, the body shaming trolls decided to make their voices heard.

She typically does not post pictures like these online but decided to make an exception for this special occasion. Mzznaki did receive a few supportive messages but the majority of the commentary was negative in nature. The hateful remarks became so contagious that the photos even went viral. Everyone felt the need to make their cruel and unwanted joke instead of simply scrolling past the photos.

Mzznaki was not about to let herself be deterred by all of the haters, though. She decided to put a positive spin on things by focusing on the positive comments. In a subsequent post, she told the haters that their “rubbish comments” were not going to put a damper on her joy. All that matters to her is that she is going to spend the rest of her life with the man who means the most to her.

The flames of their passion are never going to be extinguished. This is one couple who does not care what anyone else seems to think of them. It would be great if we could all follow their example in the future. There is no reason why we should ever allow the whims of Internet trolls to dictate our happiness. Luckily, this body shaming ordeal did not faze Mzznaki in the slightest.

She got to have the last laugh when she was able to walk down the aisle with the man she loves. Mzznaki also shared photos from the ceremony on her Instagram page as one last message to the haters who tried to bring her down. In the words of Christina Aguilera, she is beautiful…no matter what they say! The look on Kojo’s face in these photos really says it all, doesn’t it?

All it takes is one look at this happy couple in their traditional Ghanaian attire to see just how happy they are. We wish them all of the best going forward and we are glad to see that they are not letting the trolls bring them down. Thanks to stories like these, we are able to see that true love still exists in this world. Be sure to pass it along!
