Leo the dog loves his family very much. However, he has a favorite toy that he loves in a very special way. He’s got a stuffed animal that does not leave his side for any reason. “It is his favorite toy,” says Leo’s owner. Hayley has seen their connection firsthand and she is well aware of how much the toy means to him. Unfortunately, there was a recent mishap.
The toy was left in dire straits as a result. Leo was very distressed by what had taken place. The dog had ripped a hole in the bear while playing with it. All of the stuffing inside had fallen out. This is usually a death sentence for any sort of stuffed toy. The family knew that they could not allow the toy to go out like this. That’s when they sprung into action.
Hayler’s father was on hand and he was the perfect man for the job. Leo’s grandfather wanted to make sure that his pal was not deprived of his favorite plaything. As for Leo, he did not understand what was taking place. When his grandfather took the toy away, he cried and begged. He did not realize that the family was doing their very best to repair it for him.
In order to carry out the emergency surgical procedure, a sewing kit was needed. This was Grandpa’s chance to shine. Leo did not want to leave his pal’s side. He was present for each and every moment of the surgery. There were a few tense moments along the way but the toy bear pulled through the surgery with flying colors. He is now safe and sound.
Hayley says that this is the very first time she has ever seen her father perform a procedure like this. Hopefully, it will be the last one. Leo was incredibly relieved once the “surgery” was complete. The ensuing reunion will warm your heart. Leo appreciated everything that his grandfather had done. Without his help, who knows what would have become of the toy?

We hope that Leo has learned his lesson from all of this. He needs to treat his toys better! If the stuffed bear sustains any further injury, we are sure that Grandpa will be on hand to address the situation. This is one of the sweetest things that we have ever seen.
