Eagle Stares Directly Down Lens Of Camera In Perfect Photo Series

There is something about certain animal photos that we cannot look away from. We live for those perfect moments when photographers are able to capture animals in their natural state of being. There are wildlife photographers who spend their entire lives searching that one perfect shot. This Canadian man in this story has already managed to achieve that goal.

Steve Biro captured an astonishing photograph and he was understandably overwhelmed at the time. Can you imagine what it would have been like to be there for this photo? We are stunned that he was able to keep his composure and get the shot, to be honest. The bald eagle in this picture just happened to making their way across the pond at the time.

Thanks to Steve’s quick thinking, he was able to capture a photo of the eagle flying directly towards him. The eagle was staring right into the lens, too. That would be impressive enough but this eagle did him one better. The photo was snapped at the precise moment when the eagle’s reflection was perfectly symmetrical. It is the sort of photo that people spend months trying to capture.

Bruce is the name of this eagle and we are glad that Steve happened to be in the right place at the right time. He was snapping photos at the nature reverse when Bruce decided to make an appearance. Steve knew that he would have a chance to get some shots when the bird was released. He never could have expected to take a photo this amazing, though.

If you would like to see awesome video of how everything unfolded, be sure to check out the clip below. “He flew across the pond several times,” says Steve. This provided him with plenty of chances to take photographs and he did not miss a beat. Thanks to this nature reserve, photographers are now being given the chance to enjoy a closer glimpse of animals that they would not normally have access to.

We can’t believe that Steve is not a professional photographer. This is not his livelihood. In fact, he only does this as a hobby. For those who would like to see some of the same animals that Steve encountered, you will need to book a trip to Ontario’s Canadian Raptor Conservancy. Kudos to Steve for being able to capture this wonderful shot and share it with the rest of the world.
