Stories like these make us wonder what could possibly be going through someone’s mind. Mobile County Animal Shelter staffers recently experienced the results of someone else’s carelessness. Now, they need help. A man who decided that he was going to dispose of puppies in a ruthless and disgusting manner is now being sought by police.

They have some questions to ask him and quite frankly, so do we. Why on earth would someone dump puppies in a sealed box? This is essentially a death sentence. Andrew Stubbs is the shelter’s supervisor and he is furious. He cannot believe that these dogs were left to die. Illegal abandonment has been taking place all too often at this shelter. This is one of Stubbs’ biggest laments.

“We see it a lot lately,” says Andrew. The puppies had just been born when they were dropped off. They were forced to endure hours of being trapped inside of a sealed box. The poor animals did not have any air, food or water to speak of. How they managed to survive like this is beyond our comprehension. This is one of the worst ordeals that we have ever seen.

The puppies in this box were very lucky to have survived. The animal shelter has already been forced to dispose of animals that were not s so fortunate. We cannot begin to imagine how heartbreaking it must be to watch animals suffer like this. The puppies may have been in rough shape when they arrived but the shelter workers were going to do everything in their power to help out.

The man’s actions were illegal and now it is time to share this story to raise awareness. Hopefully, this man can be apprehended before he has the chance to cause any further damages. The shelter shared a post about the matter on their Facebook page. They are doing their part to let the world know about the actions of this selfish and thoughtless man.

If the puppies were not discovered when they were, the story may have turned out differently. No one would ever toss a baby away like this and the fact that people choose to do it to dogs is heartbreaking. The shelter believes that these dogs will be ready to reside in forever homes soon.
