Netflix has posted an announcement as it searches for cute dogs to star in the second series of a documentary that is all about canine companions.
If you are the sort of person who is quite active on social media with your pet, or maybe even have set up your dog with its own Instagram account, then this might be up your alley.
Netflix has announced that it is bringing back the popular “Dogs” for a second season.
They released the good news on Twitter, posting, “Guess what?! “Dogs” is coming back for another season! Tell us your dog story for a chance to potentially be featured in Dogs Season 2! Share your story on Instagram or Twitter with #netflixdogstory and tag @NetflixDogs.”
Meet Isla, Abe, & Gabby! These pups are Registered Therapy Dogs who have over 1,000 visits. We love visiting schools, libraries, and nursing homes with our dogs. Dogs bring much love to the world. Having a therapy dog is extremely touching and joy! #netflixdogstory @NetflixDogs pic.twitter.com/HEuyfoji2J

Basically, what that means is they need people to tell them about their furry friends on the show. If you’ve got a dog, then you can turn your pup into a reality star, provided you’ve got a heart-warming story to tell.
On Wednesday, Amy Berg and Glen Zipper, the executive producers of the show, released a joint statement, which read:
“From the beginning we have said that the joy shown in ‘Dogs’ helps bring people together and that same feeling will translate more than ever in Season Two. ‘Dogs’ offers us the ability to explore some of the most important human stories through relationships with our best friends and it’s been amazing to see how much these episodes have touched audiences and critics across the globe. Most importantly, our fans have become part of our extended family and we are honored to bring them a fresh set of stories that will allow us to connect with them yet again.”

Naturally, people have used this opportunity to share cute pictures of their dogs with a wider audience.
I found him sleeping next with his dead mom in super sad situation, he also had a sister, but she died because she was so sick to continue. I wanted to catch him, but he was so Fast, Since that moment I call him Fast and he is my best friend like 13 years pic.twitter.com/PvSpdH9UA2

The results are cute, inspiring, and – surprisingly enough – just plain bizarre.
As Netflix’s tweet says, in order to share your dog story, all you need to do is take a photo and explain. And don’t forget to use the hastag as well as tag @NetflixDogs in your tweet.
Good luck!
