Steve Irwin’s Son Feeds Same Crocodile In Same Place As His Dad, 15 Years Apart

As more and more habitats are polluted, animals are being forced from their rightful homes. Species are being led into extinction by thoughtless humans and it truly makes our blood boil. The rates of extinction that are currently taking place are actually comparable to the rates that took place when dinosaurs were wiped off of the face of the planet.

However, there is one famous family that is looking to eliminate this problem. Everyone knows the late, great Steve Irwin. He left behind an incredible legacy. He was a crocodile hunter with a heart of gold. Now, his loved ones are doing their best to carry on tradition. His sons Robert and Bindi have continued his conservation efforts. Irwin’s wife Terri is also heavily involved.

This is one family that is determined to stem the tides of extinction. They have an important story to tell. Australia Zoo is their responsibility and they take it very seriously. Visitors are able to enjoy daily shows and spend more time with the animals. The shows that are provided are highly ethical. The animals who reside here are treated with the utmost respect.

After all, that’s what Steve would have wanted. Crocodiles must be fed in a certain manner if they are going to survive. If these animals are not given the chance to hunt down moving prey, they are more likely to become extinct. That’s why the efforts of trained handlers are important. Without their assistance, the crocodiles are unable to feed in the proper manner.

Dad and me feeding Murray… same place, same croc – two photos 15 years apart ❤️????

A post shared by Robert Irwin (@robertirwinphotography) on

Murray the crocodile was once fed by Steve and the two had a strong connection. Now, Robert is the one who is responsible for his welfare. Recently, he recreated one of his father’s most iconic photos. The Instagram post went viral and the son’s efforts were recognized by animal lovers everywhere. Robert worries about the depletion of wildlife just as much as anyone. He hopes to shed light on the plight of these animals.

In a world where it feels like the cuddly animals take precedence over all, we are glad to see Robert looking out for the crocodiles. It is a tough job but someone has to do it, right? These photos are absolutely incredible. We are sure that Steve is smiling down on his family. Their efforts are important. We hope that the necessary awareness can be raised so that all animals are given the protection that they need….not just the cute and cuddly ones.
