Most of us have that one relative who would always be seen in socks and sandals, anytime you went to the beach. It was embarrassing but strangely nostalgic when you stop to think about it. Most of us would never do it but there are enough people out there who do combine socks and sandals that it is at least a minor trend.
Of course, there are different types of sandals and Crocs tend to be the most popular. Not only are they fashionable, they are comfortable and you can typically wear them all day long. Most people would never consider putting socks and Crocs together other than to play the part of ‘dad’ when going to the beach.
Then again, a new type of Crock is on the market and it is starting a trend in that very direction. The sock itself is not optional, it is attached to the sandal. I don’t know about you, but I’m not sure if I love it or hate it.
At the core of the Crocs with Socks trend is a collaboration between Crocs and Alife, a popular streetwear company. The new collection can be found in various colored plastic shoes and now that we have seen them, we can’t un-see them.
On the outside, they look just like a regular pair of Crocs but on the inside, there is a tube sock attached. These aren’t some kind of novelty gag gift, they are an actual thing. You can buy them as a gag if you want but is going to cost you $140 for a pair to do it.

This is only one in a long line of odd fashion trends. Some of them come and go but the socks with sandals, now the socks with Crocs trend seems to be just starting.
