Two Lovebirds Just Had 4 Babies And Internet Is In Love

If there is one thing in life that we all want, it is to find that special someone that will share the rest of their life with us. In most cases, we call them soulmates and they are a rare find, indeed. Once you hear this true love story, however, it will make you believe again.

Maura Hennelly loves animals and she will post pictures on her Twitter account of furry creatures from her Fair Oaks, California home. It doesn’t matter if they have fur, feathers or scales, she loves them. There is one particular animal that has her attention, and that is Kiwi. He is a lovely lovebird that she got a few years ago. Last year, she wanted to add some spice to his life so she brought in a girlfriend. At that point, she became both an animal lover and a matchmaker.

There is an old saying that “birds of a feather flock together” and when you see just how matched they were, it would seem like the perfect union. The problem is, Kiwi just wasn’t feeling it so that bridge burned and he was alone in the world once again.

It didn’t take long before she brought home another mate, Siouixie. These birds could not have been more polar opposites but they didn’t seem to notice. It was love at first sight.

They were so much in love that they moved way to fast. Kiwi was sharing his coconut within a few days.

It is always a good idea to step back and take an honest appraisal of any relationship. That is what these two decided to do before they committed totally to each other.

Maura decided she would let things take a natural course. The courtship continued for 6 months but they never stopped caring for each other. By March, Siouxie was building a nest and preparing for an expanded family.

The egg was laid in April and the arrival happened in June.

The first egg hatched and then the rest hatched within a few days. This was the moment everyone was waiting for.

Before long, they started to develop their plumage. Maura became the human grandmother to those 4, “half goth babies.”

We absolutely love it.

I’m sure Kiwi would have lived his life as a bachelor just fine but once Siouxie came along, we couldn’t imagine him living life alone. Now he is happy in love with his soulmate and the Internet has scored another win.
