In a world that is filled with stray dogs, the idea that a dog would pretend to be one of them is silly to us. Wait until you find out more about this dog’s reasoning before you judge, though. If you are anything like us, you will be laughing your head off by the time you are done reading. This dog spends his time outside of a Mexico City pizza shop.
He pleads with passerby with his piercing eyes. He has the type of face that is impossible to ignore. All he wants is a little bit of your pizza. Why should that be so difficult? Stop making this harder than it has to be. Estrella CR took to Facebook to tell her story about the dog’s begging ways. She was not as easy to fool as so many of the others.
For starters, the dog’s waistline gives him away. How in the world could a stray possible be this fat if they were not being fed on a regular basis by people who care? The owners of this dog have finally had enough and they decided to give him a collar that indicated this. When Estrella CR took a closer look, she found a hilarious message.
The collar has one simple plea: don’t feed me pizza, please. Perhaps he is a long lost cousin of the McDonald’s dog who went viral. For those who are unfamiliar, one American woman actually caught her own dog sitting outside of her local burger joint while she was in the drive thru herself. She had to issue a similar plea through social media to make people stop feeding him.
Estrella decided that she was not going to succumb to his charms. If he wanted a handout, he would simply need to find someone else. The pizza bandit’s collar is giving him away. Maybe he just needs to find someone who is not proficient in speaking Spanish next time. We are just glad to see that he has a home and is getting fed on a consistent basis.
Even silly dogs like this one deserve a home with people who truly love them. He struggles with his love for pizza like the rest of us and this makes him a lot easier to relate to, doesn’t it? Hopefully, Estralla was at least willing to acknowledge his effort with some petting.
