Graduation ceremonies are a lot of fun. However, there is a secret that some might not be willing to share. They can be very boring for those who are in attendance. Once you have heard the name of your loved one called, all that anyone can do is wait. That’s what makes this story such a hilarious one. Alabama’s Horseshoe Bend School just had quite the ceremony!
This senior class was experiencing a normal graduation, just like anyone else’s. However, our pal Charlie here decided that he was going to steal the show. As you may have guessed, no one was mad at him. Logan Branch is his owner and this Horseshoe Bend grad lives close by. Logan lets Charlie roam the area as he pleases, though. The pup has become something of an unofficial student.
Charlie enjoys visiting the children when they are on break from class. It did not take long for him to find a place in their hearts. “Every one at the school knows he is my dog,” Logan says. Once the school year was about to come to a close, Charlie knew that he would have to make his presence felt. It was time for our pal to truly make his mark.

He decided to head to the graduation ceremony and share in the students’ joy. “Nobody had any clue at all that he would be there,” said Logan. While this would have been an awesome surprise by itself, the dog had more in store for the students. The dog then decided that it was time to relieve himself. He picked a decorative fern for the privilege.
There is probably a metaphor in here somewhere but we are laughing too hard to find it. Just imagine being there in person for this hilarious moment. As you can tell from this video that was taken at the scene of the “crime”, all of the students and faculty members on hand totally lost it. How could anyone possibly keep a straight face at a time like this?
We definitely would have lost it, too. When you take a closer look at one of the photos from the graduation, it is easy to tell who has the closest connection to Charlie. Hint: he is the one holding his head in his hands. If you laughed at this clip as hard as we did, you will want to make sure that you are taking the time to pass it along.
