Instagram is full of a lot of ‘stars’, some who deserve the fame and others, not so much. What if I were to mention the name of an Iranian teenager, Sahar Tabar? Would you know who I was talking about? Probably not but what if I said that she was the Angelina Jolie ‘look-alike’ who perhaps more closely resembled the animated corpse bride created by Tim Burton?
Tabar made the claim that she had more than 50 operations to look like Jolie but that all turned out to be a big, fat lie. Perhaps it is no surprise that we are also skeptical about her latest claims.
She went on Instagram to post a picture of herself in a hospital bed, apparently attached to a drip. The post was uploaded on Christmas Day and included the caption, “I’ve broken my neck, how many people do you pray well…”
If you are questioning the authenticity of the picture at this point, you are not alone. We all realize that she uses a combination of Photoshop and makeup to create her ‘unique’ look. In addition, there is obviously some distortion in the picture from her neck to her shoulders.
Our BS meter was tripped even further when she posted another picture just a few days later. It was a picture of her wrapping her arms and legs around a pillar.
Speaking of legs, can you imagine somebody who would actually have such tiny limbs? The latest picture was caption: “I was pretty lovely”.
Is not very convincing that you would post a picture of wrapping yourself around a pillar only four days after you supposedly broke your neck.
Tabar has swapped out her public profile recently to a certain extent. It seems as if the Angelina Jolie thing was a huge hoax. We aren’t surprised.
Now she is going after something a little bit creepier, perhaps trying to emulate some type of Halloween ghoul. I have to admit, it’s pretty creepy to see her crawling around in one of her videos. That is not to mention the fact that she has that scream in every clip.
Rumors were behind a lot of the press that Tabar received at first. It was said that she lost 80 pounds and was maintaining a weight of 88 pounds in order to look like 43-year-old Jolie.
She was able to rack up hundreds of thousands of followers on the social network, Instagram and they couldn’t get enough of her unusual photos. Many people are saying that it was a matter of Photoshop and makeup that allowed her to create those pictures. Many were also quick to point out the smudged, blurry backgrounds.
She eventually came clean and told Sputnik, a Russian news outlet that she doctored the photos in order to amuse herself.
She said: “Now I can see that I have something in common with (Angelina Jolie), but I amuse myself, and to look like someone is not my goal.”
Assuming that she actually did break her neck, our hope that she is able to get back on her feet again so she can start posting some unusual Insta posts.
