Any adult that they have to watch their actions closely because the young people in their life will emulate them. This is what keeps most of us from cursing around children or displaying any unsavory behaviors. While we are well aware of the fact that little humans will mimic our activities, there are animals who have the ability to do so as well.

Even elephants like to get in on the copycat act. Suki is a little baby elephant who recently decided that they were going to do what the humans do. The resulting video is simply too adorable to properly put into words. She resides at the Chai Lai Orchid and is the baby of the crew. This Thailand sanctuary provides animals like this one with the chance to live their lives in the manner that they are supposed to.

The joy that Suki is experiencing is infectious. Just try to watch this clip without breaking into a huge smile….we double dare you. It is impossible. Her human helpers have created an environment where she can be her best self. She is definitely living her best life, is she not? When the video opens, we see a man who is continuously sliding on the wet grass.

This seems like a lot of fun, right? The baby elephant is very impressed by this man’s maneuver and she decides that she needs to get in on the act. She cannot help but to get in on the act. When she starts doing a slide of her own, it takes everything in our power not to lose it. Suki’s mother does not seem to like it too much, though.

We can all relate to moments like this. Wanting to laugh and play while your mother sternly looks on is a rite of passage for everyone. The sight of the elephant and the human laughing and playing together is enough to trigger some powerful feelings of nostalgia. Suki is one the most charming animals that we have ever seen.
