Cora is a special dog with a special talent. Her mother Madison happens to be well aware of this talent as well. When someone needs comfort, Cora is always right there to provide it. She has an innate sense for these sorts of things. While Madison is used to Cora’s behavior, she was stunned to see what took place recently at the airport.

They were making their way to Alaska when they came across a man who was clearly in distress. For most of us, we tend to take this as a cue to leave people alone. After all, travel can be stressful. In time, the man broke down and started to cry. Again, many of us would probably not want to intervene here but Cora is not like the rest of us.

Her compassion knows no bounds and she wanted to make sure that this man was okay. She plopped herself down next to him and his demeanor started to change. He gave her lots of loving strokes and told her how adorable she was. Sometimes, all it takes is the smallest gesture to change someone’s day for the better. Madison was so proud of her little girl.
Luckily, this adorable moment was captured by Madison and she is now sharing it with the rest of the world. We are absolutely swooning at the sight of it. Cora’s willingness to help make someone else’s day a better one should serve as an inspiration to the rest of us. What is our excuse? We should all be trying a bit harder.
Cora is the picture perfect therapy dog and we are glad that she has found her calling. She was born for the job. Madison is happy to call Cora her own and we would be, too. Cora has not had an easy start to her life either. She is empathetic because she knows how cruel the world can be. A backyard breeder was forced to surrender her before she could have a true chance to live.
