The Chinese man in this story went to the doctor’s office to receive some assistance with a very unique problem that he was having. He was dealing with a strange sensation that was taking place inside of his ear. If this sounds like a horror show come to life, that is because it was. There was a small spider inside of the ear that could not be seen with the naked eye.
This is certainly nightmare fuel for all those who find themselves afraid of spiders. It is bad enough when we find one in our own homes, let alone inside of our noggins! We feel for this man. Imagine how scary it would be to find out that you have an actual spider living inside of your head. We would be beside ourselves, that is for sure.
The man in this story hails from the Jiangsu province. He tried his best to handle the situation on his own but eventually, he had to turn to the professionals at Affiliated Hospital of Yangzhou University. The doctors knew that there was something hiding in there. However, they could not remove the spider with the usage of typical medical equipment.
Dr. Zhang Pan was responsible for the discovery of the spider. He did not notice it at first. “However, using an endoscope, I discovered the small spider inside,” says Dr. Pan. A pair of tweezers did not work and eventually, the spider had to be flushed out from the area by a specialist. Beware if you have a weak stomach, though. Those who do not wish to see a spider sprinting from the drops that are placed in the man’s ear might be better off doing something else. Don’t say that we didn’t warn you! Chinese social media could not get enough of this story when it was posted. Now, it is time for audiences around the world to check it out for themselves.
We are just glad that this man received the help he needed. Insects make their way into people’s ear all of the time. It just isn’t that widely reported. We imagine that people are actually embarrassed by these occurrences. It must be tough to admit that something has crawled into your ear and that you do not know how to get it out.
