Dog Dumped With The Trash After Owners Leave Him Behind

Just imagine how you would feel to be walking down the street and see an old house for sale. This is a pretty common experience, right? In these situations, the tenants may even leave out a wide range of items that they could not take with them. Many of us have managed to score a free piece of furniture because of these impromptu giveaways. Don’t lie.

However, there is a major difference between providing the neighborhood with a free couch and ditching an animal because you are too lazy to take the proper steps. Detroit Youth and Dog Rescue founder Mike Diesel had this exact experience. He came across a dog that had been left in the yard of their old home. The pup was obviously bewildered by what had taken place.

Boo is Here ????❤️If anyone cares to donate to his care or that of other animals in our care please feel free to PayPal…

When Mike asked the neighbors how long the dog had been there, the answers he received were astounded. Some said that the dog had been there for a week. Others said one month! The dog has since been renamed Boo. Can you believe that these people even came back to pick up supplies that they needed at their new home, without bothering to take Boo with them?

BOO went shopping yesterday ????❤️

Liz Marie came with Mike to help the dog and she was saddened by what she saw. She took some photos of the dog’s predicament. Once they were shared on Facebook, the rest of the country became aware of Boo’s plight. The poor dog simply did not want to leave the home. He was still holding out hope that his family would come back to him someday.

BOO did great his 1st night in new foster home and had Lots of Cuddles and has been on 2 Walks today so far ????❤️

He stayed close to the items that were left in the yard because the smells were familiar to him. The prospect of leaving the home behind before his owners came back for him was simply too much to bear. It took Mike two whole days to win the dog’s trust. Some McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches did the trick. Sometimes, you just have to resort to bribery.

Visiting BOO ????❤️

Boo was eventually taken in by a lovely foster mother. When the dog was struggling to find a forever home after being taken in, she was more than happy to help him out. Now, Boo finally has the forever home that he deserves. What a great ending to an otherwise sad story. Kudos to Mike Diesel and his friend Liz for stepping up to the plate to help out their new friend.
