When Eric the dog’s owner left him with a neighbor a few months back, he never could have expected what would end up happening next. The owner abandoned him and never came back. From there, the neighbor was forced to surrender Eric to the RSPCA. He now resides there and is in search of a new forever home. The senior dog has been baffled by this turn of events.
As a senior dog, he is the type who likes to take things nice and slow. He’s a meandering type who just loves to cuddle. He also lives for naps. As you can imagine, the old boy truly values his sleep and needs several hours of rest each day. He does not let any night pass without trying his absolute best to get his nine hours of rest. Eric will even put himself to sleep, in order to make sure.
He likes a nice, long sleep at nighttime and he also appreciates a good afternoon nap. This is a man after our own hearts. Eric does not spend all of his time sleeping, though. He likes to spend time with people as well. He loves a good cuddle almost as much as he loves a good sleep. We are sure that he is going to make a great companion to anyone who is willing to take a chance on him.
Eric enjoys a back scratch and he’s also partial to ear scratches. He would make a great companion for someone who is looking for a dog that is a bit more low key in nature. Shelter life didn’t agree with him too much. He is now residing with a foster family that gives him plenty of time to enjoy his naps. He is 14 years old and the RSPCA would like to place him in a forever home as soon as they can.
He needs a nice, comfy bed that he can retire to and we hope that he finds it soon. Being alone is not appealing to him and so he is looking for someone who would be willing to spend time with him during the day. Perhaps someone who works from home would be willing to step up to the plate?
In the meantime, please take a moment to share this story with your closest friends and loved ones. If you would like to adopt this adorable fellow, be sure to pick up the phone and give the RSPCA a call today.
