A woman who was walking through the London streets late at night got more than she bargained for when she saw a purse hanging from the inside of a door. She thought it was strange to see a red purse hanging from a shop door at 2 AM. As it turns out, these suspicions were 100 percent correct. When she took a look inside of the purse, she was absolutely stunned.
There was a puppy inside! To make matters even worse, the puppy’s front paws had been tied together. The dog was eventually given a new name and a whole new lease on life. Radley needed help, though, and this story experienced twists and turns. The RSPCA was contacted immediately. Once they were able to get to the dog, they brought Radley to the Putney Animal Hospital immediately.
Radley was clearly under a great deal of stress. No animal deserves to be stuffed inside of a handbag and tossed out in the middle of the night. The distress that the animal experienced was almost too much to bear. Once the dog was examined, it was determined that he was fine despite the awful ordeal that he was forced to endure.
The tiny pup was lucky not to have been severely injured. He is currently in the recovery process. Radley has become quite popular at the hospital that he is staying in. He’s made lots of friends and loves to play with his new toys. He is not available for adoption just yet but it is believed that he will be ready for a forever home soon.
We shudder to think of what would have happened if this woman had not been willing to stop her late night stroll to investigate. Radley may have been dead by morning or have far more severe injuries. An investigation has been launched into the situation. Hopefully, the person who is responsible for what took place is held fully responsible for their reprehensible actions.
Anyone who has information about this incident is being urged to contact the RSPCA. Once the staff at the animal hospital is sure that the dog is fully healthy, he will be placed up for adoption.
