Undercover rescuers play a crucial role when it comes to freeing animals from adverse circumstances. Thanks to the efforts of the rescuers in this story, hundreds of birds have been freed from their makeshift prison. This story takes place in Asia, where a market that was harboring well over 500 birds was raided by a group of well meaning wildlife officials.

This market is responsible for selling these animals as pets. The conditions were absolutely atrocious and the birds were suffering tremendously. Asian koel and parakeet were just a few of the bird species that were found during the raid. While these animals can still survive in captivity, they are better off in the wild, where they truly belong.

Traffickers look to steal them from their natural habitat in hopes of making a profit. These practices need to cease immediately and it makes us happy to see wildlife officials taking the time to crack down. The Wildlife Crime Control Bureau is responsible for rescuing the birds in this story. Kudos to this organization for all of their hard work. Without organizations like these, more and more animals would continue to suffer.

The birds that were rescued from these awful conditions have since been turned over to veterinarians. These professionals are now responsible for nursing them back to health. We are sad to report that some of the newly hatched babies were not able to survive this terrible ordeal. We truly wish that people cared about more about what happens at these locations.

Wildlife smugglers need to be stopped at all costs. They should not have the ability to steal animals from their homes. Authorities have already arrested several people who are responsible for what has taken place. Hopefully, they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. No one should be allowed to get away with such a heinous crime. In a perfect world, all those who behave in such a cruel and callous manner would receive their just desserts.
